北市府16日宣布，大巨蛋爭議將先找融資銀行團洽談善後工作；不過，因銀行團對接管的意願並不高，遭外界質疑北市府是否太過一廂情願。台北市長柯文哲昨反問媒體，你知道明天利率多少嗎，不要煩惱明天的事，要先說明、先溝通，「世界上一廂情願的事情多的是。」
柯文哲表示，和銀行團接洽的任務將由副市長鄧家基負責，但也不是叫人家來就來，時間還要安排。柯也說，不是要接管，而是先說明與溝通，讓銀行團知道事情進行到哪，爭執點為何，而不是看報紙才知道消息，也要讓銀行團大老闆知道裡面的東西。
根據合約，如果融資機構接管大巨蛋，需在半年內完成改善（完工大巨蛋），否則市府可以解約。媒體詢問，市府選擇與銀行團洽談接管事宜，實際上是否代表再給遠雄展延工期6個月？柯文哲僅回應，《論語》有句話叫暴虎馮河，要做有責任的執政者，解約不能講那麼簡單，事情要「well-prepared」。
